Plainly

Terms of Use

Last updated: October 2026

By downloading or using Plainly, you agree to these terms. Please read them. They're short and written in plain English.

What You're Getting

Plainly (listed on the App Store as Plainly AI) is an app for iPhone and iPad that teaches AI literacy through a structured course. The first six modules are free, and you can read the first lesson of one paid module free. The rest of the library is available as a one-time in-app purchase.

Your Purchase

The in-app purchase unlocks all 13 paid modules. It is a one-time charge. No subscription, no renewal. The purchase is tied to your Apple Account, so you can restore it on any iPhone or iPad signed in with that Apple Account, using Restore Purchase in the app.

Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled through Apple's standard refund process at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple makes the final decision on refunds for App Store purchases.

What You Can and Can't Do

You may use Plainly for personal, non-commercial learning. You may not copy, distribute or resell the course content. The lessons, structure and design are our work. Please respect that.

Education, Not Advice

Plainly teaches how AI works and how to use it thoughtfully. Lessons that touch on health, money, legal matters or safety are general education, not medical, financial or legal advice. For decisions about your own situation, talk to a qualified professional.

No Warranties

Plainly is provided as-is. We do our best to keep it accurate and working, but we can't guarantee the app will always be available or error-free. AI is a fast-moving field. We review the content regularly, but some details may change after we write them.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Plainly and its creator are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes

We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the new terms.
