Plainly AI is an iOS app that teaches AI literacy to everyday adults. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what we don't do.
Almost nothing. Plainly AI stores your lesson progress locally on your device only. No account is required. No login. Nothing leaves your phone.
If you make an in-app purchase, Apple processes that transaction. We receive confirmation that the purchase was made — nothing else. Apple's privacy policy governs that transaction.
We do not collect your name, email address, location, or any personal information. We have no analytics, no advertising trackers, and no third-party SDKs that collect data. There is no server storing anything about you.
Your course progress is stored locally using your device's storage. If you delete the app, that data is deleted with it. We have no way to recover it because we never had it.
Plainly AI is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
Because we collect no personal data, most data privacy regulations don't apply to our practices. If you have questions or concerns, contact us and we'll respond promptly.
If we ever change our data practices, we'll update this page and note the date. We don't expect significant changes — the app is designed to work without your data.
